Overview

Microsoft Azure services evolve rapidly, and upcoming service retirements can affect engineering teams, product planning, and customer-facing operations. However, retirement data was distributed across multiple internal dashboards and documentation systems.

I designed a centralized Service Retirement Dashboard that consolidates data from multiple sources and provides tailored views for different stakeholders. The platform enables teams to anticipate service impacts, coordinate mitigation strategies, and make more informed planning decisions.

Challenge

  • Retirement data existed across multiple disconnected dashboards and SharePoint resources.

  • Stakeholders required different perspectives based on their roles.

  • Teams lacked a unified understanding of service impact across customers, regions, and workloads.

Solution

  • Designed a centralized dashboard integrating retirement data across systems.

  • Created multi-dimensional views (by service, region, customer, product, workload).

  • Introduced filtering and visualizations to support proactive planning and risk awareness.
